How it works.

In world of instant gratification, I feel it’s necessary to give various establishments honest and unbiased reviews. I have a great Job as it is so I receive absolutely ZERO monetary gain from anything published on this site. I will also remain anonymous. A lot of reviewers make their presence known thus, doing the rest of us a disservice by reviewing uncommon standards. With that being said, if there is something I don’t know I will be the first to tell you. I did work for Landry’s for a considerable amount of time. I can unequivocally say, by the numbers, nobody does it better.

Ratings:

I won’t be rating an establishment on 1-10 or star system. Instead I will give my honest write up with either “try it” or “don’t try it”. We will handle the borderline nuances as we go.

Managing expectations:

Too many people eat at a fine dining steak house on a Saturday, burger joint on a Tuesday and want to compare the service standards and food quality. That’s not how it works. I will do my best to manage expectations. If a burger place promises a great burger you can’t get upset over a limited dessert menu because you had a craving for chocolate pie and a cappuccino.

The little things:

I spent enough time in industry to find little “tales” of how a service will go. For example if iced tea taste moldy and the restrooms are sub par I can usually expect a mediocre experience because they can’t get the little things right. The little things make all the difference.

With all that said I hope you find this useful. Feel free to shoot me a message if you have any questions.
